| The SUDAVIATION-SE 3160 AL-III was the result of the experience gained with the production of the AL-II, and the AL-III and emerged as a general purpose helicopter.
Among other features, the AL-III can be used in operations such as: assault, rescue, medical evacuation, surveillance, transport, fire fighting support, etc.. The AL-III is equipped with a non-retractable landing gear, but a skate landing gear can also be fitted.
It can carry 6 passengers (besides the pilot) or 2 stretches and 2 passengers, or 800 Kg of internal cargo, or 750 Kg of suspended cargo.
As far as weapons are concerned it can be equipped with a 20 mm caliber side cannon and a rocket launcher system with a capacity for 12 rockets of 2,75". |
