During these days, the ETAP-T 2023 exercise has included several training sessions involving the dropping of aircraft cargo.

These operations, carried out with the purpose of sustaining and supporting forces on the ground, consist of transporting cargo previously prepared to be launched from the aircraft.

There are several ways to perform the cargo release that depend on the size and type of cargo to be dropped, which in turn influences the area of ​​the aircraft where it is positioned and the parachute system used.

ETAP-T 2023 takes place at Air Base 11, in Beja, until the 14th of July.
