  ASAREX 23   

The Portuguese Air Force organizes, from September 11 to 15, Advanced Search and Rescue Exercise 2023 (ASAREX23), the largest Search and Rescue exercise in the country. ASAREX23 will take place from Air Base Number 4, Terceira Island, Azores, and will be picked up by the Azores Air Zone Command, the Azores Maritime Zone Command, the Lajes Air Search and Rescue Coordination Center and the of Coordination of Maritime Search and Rescue of Ponta Delgada.

GOALS

 
ASAREX23`s main objective is joint and combined training and the exchange of experiences and knowledge among participants. It is intended, therefore, to promote and maximize the synergy between the various national and international search and rescue centers, as well as between the entities involved in search and rescue actions. 
O ASAREX 21 tem como principal objetivo o treino conjunto e combinado e a troca de experiências e conhecimentos entre os participantes. Pretende-se, assim, promover e maximizar a sinergia entre os vários centros de busca e salvamento nacionais e internacionais adjacentes, bem como entre as entidades intervenientes em ações de busca e salvamento.
