Today, July 7th, the Closing Ceremony of Real Thaw 2022 (RT22) took place. The Air Commander, Lieutenant General António Branco, presided the ceremony.

During the ceremony, the National Flags of the participating countries were lowered, while the NATO Anthem and the National Anthem of Portugal, organizer of the event, was played.

Afterwards, the awards were handed out, where some soldiers who were involved in the exercise received a certificate of appreciation for the good performance of their duties.

The Air Commander, Lieutenant General António Branco, took the floor and ended the Real Thaw 2022.

This exercise, which started on June 26th, ends tomorrow, July 8th. After two weeks since the start of Real Thaw 2022, the multinational fighter exercise organized by the Air Force is about to come to an end.

Tomorrow, the last departures of the exercise participants will take place towards their home countries.
