During the Real Thaw 2023 exercise (RT23), Air Base 11 admitted eight students from courses in the areas of Restaurant/Bar Technician and Restaurant/Bar Employee, to strengthen the Air Force team. Mess this unit.

This initiative aims to develop activities during on-the-job training in the areas mentioned above and strengthen the team during the exercise, facing the momentary increase in users.

During the first week of RT23, a group of 38 students went to the “War Messe” – Exercise Messe – to find out how it works. This visit was attended by the Mayor of Ourique, Marcelo Guerreiro.
