On March 8, the Real Thaw 2023 (RT23) received aeronautical photography lovers for the traditional Spotters Day. About 50 people went to Air Base 11 (AB11), in Beja, to photograph some of the planes, helicopters and unmanned aerial systems participating in the multinational exercise.

The spotters, after paying a visit to the board where the aircraft are parked, watched the take-offs and landings of the various national and foreign air means.

On this Spotters Day, Portuguese aircraft TB-30 Epsilon, F-16M, AW119 Koala, P-3C CUP+ ORION and UAVision Ogassa flew over Beja, in addition to aircraft from other participating countries, such as the NATO DA-20, the American B-52 and the Belgian A400M.

Remember that this is the 14th edition of the international exercise organized by the Air Force, which had its first edition in 2008.
