The last flights of ETAP-T 2023 took place today. The closing ceremony of the multinational exercise took place this afternoon, July 13th, at Air Base 11, in Beja.

Presided over by the Air Commander, Lieutenant-General Matos Branco, the ceremony ended with the lowering of the flags of the participating countries while the National Anthem was sung.

The Air Commander declared ETAP-T 2023 closed, also leaving words of recognition for the work carried out in the exercise, not only in the two weeks it took place, but also in its preparation.

In his speech, Colonel Juan Gonzales, Commander of the European Tactical Airlift Center, thanked all participants for their effort in the exercise and the Air Force for organizing it.

At the end of the ceremony, testimonial certificates were given to some soldiers from the different areas that make up the exercise. The goal is to reward the military who fulfilled their role in an excellent way.
