Distinguished Visitors Day at the NATO Tiger Meet

Today, September 30, the Distinguished Visitors Day (DVD) of NATO Tiger Meet 2025 (NTM25) was held at Air Base No. 11 (BA11) in Beja, an event that brought together various national and international entities.

Among those present were the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Lieutenant-General António Nascimento, the Air Commander, Lieutenant-General Sérgio Pereira, and the Naval Commander, Vice Admiral Salvado Figueiredo, as well as representatives from other nations participating in the exercise.

The morning began with a visit to the areas where the aircraft involved in NTM25 are parked, allowing the guests to closely observe the air assets deployed for the exercise.

This was followed by a briefing on the NATO Tiger Meet, conducted by Colonel Pais, Exercise Controller.Before the end of the morning, the entities also visited Ops Village, where they had the opportunity to get to know up close the operational and logistical component set up for the exercise.

During the afternoon, capability demonstrations took place, showcasing the skills trained throughout NTM25 and highlighting the relevance of the exercise for the interoperability and readiness of allied countries.

The NATO Tiger Meet continues to establish itself as one of the most prestigious international military aviation exercises, promoting cooperation, advanced training, and the "Tiger" spirit among participants.
