The Air Force was present from 17 to 21 November at the KC-390 Millennium Users Group held in Budapest, Hungary, represented by a delegation led by Major General João Nogueira, KC-390 Programme Manager in the Air Force.

The event was intended to share operational experiences, discuss fleet sustainment and support, analyse the training and skills required to operate the aircraft in its multiple missions, analyse the platform's future capabilities, and strengthen multinational cooperation. 

The event was attended by countries that currently operate the KC-390 aircraft, namely Portugal, Brazil, and Hungary, as well as nations that have already formalised their contracts to purchase the aircraft, namely the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, South Korea, and the Czech Republic.

After the first edition was held in Portugal in 2023, the next edition of the Users Group will once again be organised by Portugal in 2026.
