Titan Sky 2026: DV Day at Air Base No. 11

Air Base No. 11, in Beja, hosted the TITAN SKY 2026 Distinguished Visitors Day, a moment dedicated to presenting the capabilities, assets and entities integrated in what is the Portuguese Air Force’s first multinational exercise focused on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

The event was attended by the Acting Air Commander, Major General João Gonçalves, the Naval Commander, Vice Admiral José Salvado de Figueiredo, the Ambassador of Hungary to Portugal, and representatives from the European Defence Agency.

Throughout the afternoon, guests had the opportunity to attend several presentations dedicated to the exercise, participating assets and integrated capabilities involved in TITAN SKY 2026, allowing closer contact with the various components involved in the multinational exercise.

TITAN SKY 2026 brings together participants from Portugal, Belgium, Hungary and Spain, promoting interoperability, international cooperation and capability development in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems, within a multidomain operational environment focused on the emerging challenges of modern military operations.

The DV Day also reinforced the importance of cooperation between nations, entities and international partners in an exercise where innovation, technology and operational readiness play a central role in the development of future capabilities.
