Today, June 30th, Real Thaw 2022 Spotters Day (RT22) took place. About 100 people were able to go to Air Base 11 (BA11), in Beja, and photograph some of the 54 aircraft that make up the exercise.

The spotters, after visiting the boards where the aircraft are parked, watched a roll of fighters along the runway, and were able to see up close the aircraft of all participating countries, both during take-off and landing.

On this Spotters Day it was possible to photograph the Portuguese aircraft F-16M, C-130H, C-295M, AW119 “Koala”, P3C CUP+ Orion, EH-101 Merlin and aircraft from other participating countries, such as: Rafale; F-16CJ; EF-2000 Typhoon; F-16M, from Belgium.

It is recalled that this is the 13th edition of the international exercise organized by the Air Force, since the first edition in 2008, and ends on the 8th of July.
