NATO Tiger Meet 2025 comes to an end

NATO Tiger Meet 2025, which began on September 21 at Air Base No. 11 in Beja, comes to an end today.

It was two intense weeks of training, joint and combined operations, culminating in a closing ceremony presided over by the Air Commander, Lieutenant General Sérgio Pereira.

The moment featured the lowering of the flags of the participating countries and the playing of the national anthem of Portugal.

This was followed by the customary awarding of certificates of appreciation to the service members who stood out the most for their commitment and dedication throughout the event.

In total, around 830 missions were carried out during approximately 1,500 flight hours by the various aircraft involved in the exercise, reinforcing the spirit of cooperation, interoperability, and excellence that characterizes the NATO Tiger Meet.
