TITAN SKY 2026 Comes to a End

The closing ceremony for TITAN SKY 2026 took place at Air Base No. 11 in Beja, marking the end of the first edition of this multinational exercise dedicated to Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) conducted by the Air Force.

The ceremony was presided over by the Commander of Air Base No. 11, Colonel Nuno Monteiro da Silva, bringing together participants and entities involved throughout the two-week exercise.

TITAN SKY 2026 brought together participants from Portugal, Belgium, Hungary, and Spain, with additional support from the European Defense Agency (EDA), promoting interoperability, international cooperation, and capability development in a multi-domain operational environment focused on the emerging challenges of military operations.

Throughout the exercise, participants operated in complex and realistic scenarios dedicated to the operational integration of Unmanned Aerial Systems, while simultaneously strengthening the sharing of experience, coordination among participating forces, and the development of joint procedures.

The first edition of TITAN SKY also helped consolidate the Air Force’s ability to host multinational exercises with high operational demands, in a domain that is increasingly relevant to the future of military operations.
